Consultation Report - Phase One
A consultation report has been released outlining issues and feedback from the first round of consultation on the development of the Blueprint for the Bush, from April to June 2005.
Round Four - Strengthening Drought Affected Communities
In recognition of issues that face communities in drought affected areas this special round of Local Answers grants program 'Strengthening Drought Affected Communities', will fund projects specifically in areas that are declared 'Exceptional Circumstances' or areas that can demonstrate significant hardship as a result of the drought.

Rural Law Online
Rural Law Online has been funded by the Federal Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs to run a national Online Forum. The Forum provides legal information to the many rural and regional Australians affected by the ongoing drought.
Twenty-five lawyers and rural counsellors from around Australia provide their time free of charge to respond to legal queries posted to the Forum.

The Australian Government is providing $10.1 million to help people living in drought-affected communities to deal with drought-related psychological trauma. See the linked PDF.
