The presence of a risk factor does not mean that a woman will
contract Breast Cancer.

As there is currently no means of preventing breast cancer
The National Breast Cancer Centre recommends regular breast
screening for women aged over 50 years. Women are encouraged
to be aware of the normal look and feel of their breasts and
to see a general Practitioner immediately should they notice
any unusual signs or symptoms.
