Interest Rate Subsidies

To provide business support to farm enterprises that are viable in the long term but are in financial difficulties due to drought Exceptional Circumstances (EC). A subsidy of up to 80% of interest paid on new and existing loans is available, up to a maximum of $100,000 per annum. The property must be located in an EC drought declared area.

Small Business Emergency Assistance Scheme

To provide business support to small businesses that are viable in the long term, but who are dependant on areas declared to be under drought Exceptional Circumstances (EC). A subsidy of up to 50% of interest paid on new and existing loans is available, up to a maximum of $10,000 per annum. Business do not need to be located in the drought EC area, but do need to have most of their business activity in drought EC declared areas.

Small Business Drought Assistance (Exceptional Circumstances)

To assist small businesses that are in financial difficulty due to their dependence on farming enterprises in exceptional circumstances areas.
Interest subsidy grants of up to $100,000 are available.
